A live guitar set-list.

This is a list of guitar pieces that I’m currently practicing, have practiced in the past, or would like to practice in the future.
Whenever I pick up my guitar, I have difficulty choosing a song. Also, since I’ve been playing for so long, keeping track of what I learned has become hard. I keep forgetting what I know, and end up noodling with my instrument, which isn’t contributing to my learning. By writing about it, I’m hoping to force myself out of this circular trap.
Present
- Time After Time by Eva Cassidy — My friend Supriya introduced me to the song years ago. It’s a great acoustic-only cover, ideal for female-vocal gigs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzsj60THn40
- Autumn leaves — This is a jazz standard. Great sounding, and excellent study material. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pr7qWXClmpk
Past
- Yesterday by The Beatles — I remember really liking the chord change in “Oh I believe… in yes-terd-day.”
- Blackbird by The Beatles — I love the melody for Blackbird, and its really fun to play.
- Cherry wine by Hozier — Its a beautiful sounding piece for fingerstyle playing.
- More than words by Extreme — This has been a go-to gig song for me and my sister Medha.
- One last breath by Creed — I learned this in high school, and forgot it. It was challenging to me at the time.
Future
- Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam— This is a great song for guitar tone testing.
- No Diggity by Blackstreet — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrHGN-dTnu
- Song for George by Eric Johnson — https://youtu.be/6BcW-tV_W7c
